XXAOC - Architecture's - Hidden Figues
An ongoing research project by the studio and XXAOC, (Female Architects of Colour), founded by the studio’s Sarah Akigbogun.
The project includes a film, which is currently in production, writing and a podcast.
Why the XXAOC? Architectural history is manifestly missing female architects of colour. Whilst the US has lots of data on this, in the UK we have only been recording data on race for 10 years. As such we do not know who many of our pioneers were. Who for example was the first Black female Architect? The XXAOC project wants to learn from the US and fill in some of these blanks. .

Hackney Stories - Ahmed 'The Professor of Shoes'
An on going research project by the Studio and sister collective Appropri8, working with photography, film, audio recordings and writing to document the way Hackney has evolved though waves of migration, and the way this affects the streetscape. The project started as part of Appropri8’s Cine-threatre for the London Festival of Architecture (LFA).
